At Clara, we take care of your safety. That is why we have implemented two-step authentication or 2FA, to prevent your account from being at risk, so we strongly recommend activating it as soon as possible.
Two-step authentication is a new security feature that along with a password protects your account. This functionality consists of obtaining a random authentication code, to which only you will have access through a two-step authentication application.
With this new protection, when you enter your Clara account from a new device, you must provide your password and authentication code. This way we make sure that it is you who enters your account and not someone else.
The authentication code will be given to you by your selected two-step authentication application, it changes over time, so you must enter to view it each time you enter your Clara account.
If you want to know the applications that we recommend performing this authentication, you can enter this article.
It could be possible that your mobile app also requires the 2-Step authentication code, sharing with you how it works below:
- If the biometrics are turned on such as face ID, or fingerprint, the app will just require the 2-Step authentication code once, which is the same as the one you use to log in to the platform.
- If you have not turned on the biometrics, the app will request the code every time you log in.
- If you have not activated the 2-Step authentication, you must do it following the steps mentioned before.
To simplify the process and increase your account security, we strongly advise you to activate the biometrics.
