Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on Your Clara Account

Keep your account safe with an extra layer of security.
With 2FA, even if someone knows your password, they won’t be able to log in without your personal authentication code.

What is 2FA?

It's a security feature that asks for a temporary code in addition to your password.
Only you can access this code through an authentication app.

When is it required?

When logging in from a new device, you’ll need to enter:

  1. Your password

  2. A code generated by your authentication app

What you need to activate it

  • Download an authenticator app (like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator)

▶️ How to activate it

Watch this video and follow the step-by-step guide:

Will the mobile app ask for the code too?

Yes — here’s how it works:

  • If biometrics (Face ID or fingerprint) are enabled:
You'll only be asked for the code once.

  • If biometrics are not enabled:
The app will request the code every time you log in.

🔐 It’s the same code you use to access Clara via web.

Pro tip

To simplify access and boost your security, enable biometrics on your phone.
