Clara costs and fees

With Clara, you have access to transparent financial services with no hidden charges. Here you’ll find the main costs and fees that apply to your Clara account and cards in Mexico. 

General costs

These are the general costs associated with your Clara account:

Clara Black card replacement

The Clara Black card replacement fee applies when the replacement is due to events attributable to the Client, for example:

• Card loss

• Card theft

• Card created by Client mistake

• Card damage due to misuse

In these cases:

• A $500.00 MXN fee is charged for the replacement.

• This cost is handled as a reimbursement in Clara points, for 10% in points.

ATM cash withdrawals

You can make cash withdrawals at ATMs. These are the fees Clara charges per withdrawal:

Important note:
In addition to Clara’s fee, the ATM owner (the bank that operates the ATM) may charge an extra fee for using the machine. This fee is independent from Clara and may vary depending on the financial institution.

International purchases

When you make purchases abroad or with international merchants:

• A 3% fee is charged for each transaction made abroad.

This fee is applied to the amount of each transaction.

Interest and CAT

Interest and the Total Annual Cost (CAT) are defined in your credit agreement with Clara. In general:

To avoid default interest charges, make sure you pay your balance before the due date shown on your statement.
