Keeping your e.firma updated is essential to ensure that your legal and billing processes with Clara do not stop. The SAT offers a simple tool to validate the expiration date of your files.

Step-by-Step to Check Validity

Follow these instructions to verify your files (.key and .cer):

  1. Enter the portal: Access the official SAT link for certificate validation.

  2. Start the process: Click the Start (Iniciar) button on the SAT page.

  3. Upload your files: Locate your Private Key (.key) and your Certificate (.cer) files on your computer.

  4. Authentication: Enter the password for your e.firma private key.

  5. Visual verification: Enter the text from the image (Captcha) shown on the screen.

  6. Get the result: Click Submit (Enviar). The application will immediately show the expiration date of your certificate.

Required Elements for the Inquiry

To ensure a successful inquiry, make sure you have the following at hand:

Element File Type / Data
Certificate File with .cer extension
Private Key File with .key extension
Password Private key defined when processing your signature.
