Follow these instructions to verify your files (.key and .cer):
Enter the portal: Access the official SAT link for certificate validation.
Start the process: Click the Start (Iniciar) button on the SAT page.
Upload your files: Locate your Private Key (.key) and your Certificate (.cer) files on your computer.
Authentication: Enter the password for your e.firma private key.
Visual verification: Enter the text from the image (Captcha) shown on the screen.
Get the result: Click Submit (Enviar). The application will immediately show the expiration date of your certificate.
